Blessings

$570.00

Blessings is a layered mixed media artwork inspired by the idea of spoken blessings passed through generations within a family—especially the tradition of honoring children within a family tree.

Rather than focusing on a single moment in time, the piece reflects continuity: the quiet ways love, protection, and hope are expressed and carried forward from one generation to the next. Textures and subtle marks build like memory itself—layered, imperfect, and deeply personal—mirroring how family stories are formed over time.

Hints of Hebrew influence are woven gently into the work as symbolic language rather than religious focus, representing heritage, identity, and connection. These elements sit within the composition like echoes—reminders that what we say over our loved ones can shape how they move through the world.

At its heart, Blessings is about lineage in its most human form: the bond between parent and child, the invisible roots that hold a family together, and the hope that what is given in love continues long after the moment has passed.
